It is not legal for a person to practice medicine in the US without a license. Do so and you risk MAJOR lawsuits and jail time.

You could try applying with some online health companies as a consultant or article writer - someplace like WebMD or iVillage.

An unlicensd doctor can always work as a doctor if an hospital or a licensed doctor will hire him. Perhaps you should try approaching Doctors unless the college you graduated from is noot recognized in USA. But even if you were licensed you could not work from home because you would not have any patients who would have heard about you.

There aren't many options for doctors specifically to work out of their home. Maybe something for an insurance company...

its is definitely the best way to go they pay for all of your studies. you wont have all of that debt after becoming a doctor. plus you get to serve your country. i would suggest for you to go to an academy, if you can. if not just got to navy rotc or air force rotc, most military doctors go through rotc. i recommend for you to do it in the air force they really are known for nice bases.and unless you want to be in a ship for 6 months doing surgeries, then the Air force is the way to go!

You would have to contact each Academy's Public Affairs office. They would most likely have that info or will be able to point you in the right direction.

Almost all military doctors, took the exact same route civilian doctors do.

They went to college, earned their BS degree.
Applied to and were accepted into Med school.
Finished their residency program.

Then contacted the military health services recruiter and were commissioned.

IE: they became doctors, then joined the service.

The academy is not a good route to become a doctor.

While you can apply for the Uniformed Services University after receiving your 4 year BS degree.

It has the same standards as all other med schools.

In some cases it can even be harder to get into, because the med school education is free.

You can also do ROTC, and then apply for med school.

The military has programs to help pay the cost of med school, if your accepted.

But if you are not accepted, then you must still commission into the service in whatever job they want you to.

IE: if youhave not got the point, the military has nothing to do with you getting into med school.

You have to do that based on your college grades and your MCAT score.

And to have a realistic chance of making the college grades necessary, your High School grades would have been good enough to earn you a scholarship.
